  • The club are confident in agreeing a deal
  • Another Man City player is on the Toffees’ radar

Everton are working towards lowering Manchester City’s asking price for Jack Grealish and he is not the only player to have caught their eye.

Manchester City are set to see a number of players depart the Etihad Stadium at the end of the season. Bernardo Silva is confirmed to be leaving and he is not the only player on an increasingly short contract.

One report recently suggested Jack Grealish could join Everton this summer. In fact, signing the Englishman is one of the club’s biggest priorities.

With Grealish being loaned out to the Toffees this season, it definitely seems like there is nothing left for him at Man City.

Everton are confident of signing Jack Grealish from Manchester City

According to the Daily Mail, Everton are growing in confidence that a permanent deal can be struck for Grealish when the summer transfer window opens.

David Moyes’ team have an option to sign the winger for £50m, but are expected to try and negotiate down to a fee of around £20. After all, he only has a year remaining on his contract.

Grealish’s £300,000 weekly wage could be a difficult obstacle to overcome, but the club’s financial situation has improved since they moved to the Hill Dickinson Stadium.

John Stones could also switch Man City for Everton

While Grealish looks likely to leave Man City, he could be joined at Everton by John Stones, with the defender’s contract expiring once the season ends.

Man City will not offer Stones a new deal, meaning he will have no choice but to go searching for a new club.

It is said that Everton are monitoring the situation of Stones, so he could end up in Merseyside along with Grealish.
