Everton could attempt to make a move for Jack Grealish once the summer transfer window opens, but they will have to meet Manchester City’s demands.

Whether Jack Grealish proved himself to be worth the £100m Man City spent to sign him is debatable, but he was a great player for the club in his prime years.

However, the 30-year-old does not have a future in Manchester, so it made sense when he was sent on loan to Everton last summer.

Grealish got off to a brilliant start at the Hill Dickinson Stadium, racking up an abundance of assists under David Moyes.

Despite this, he was required to have surgery on his foot in January, leaving him sidelined for the past couple of months.

Everton will look to sign Jack Grealish

Even though Grealish’s time at Everton has seemingly been cut short, there is a chance he will be back in Merseyside next season.

According to The i Paper, the forward area is one of the club’s priorities and they are hopeful of negotiating a deal to sign Grealish.

The Englishman himself is keen to move there permanently and Moyes is just as enthusiastic about making this a reality.

Everton have multiple areas to strengthen, which means the deal has to make sense financially. Most likely, they would be willing to pay £20m to sign Grealish.

Grealish’s age and short contract could give them an advantage, coupled with the fact Pep Guardiola does not see him playing for City again.

Man City have no reason not to sell Grealish

Although Grealish has done well at Everton, there has been nothing major to suggest he could still do a job at Man City.

Ultimately, the Citizens have younger players with higher ceilings and the club will be focused on developing these talents.

Grealish has been a great player for City and he will leave with everyone’s best wishes, but there is no chance of him making his way back into Guardiola’s squad now.
