These three players will surely join Man City this summer
  • Up-and-coming goalkeeper
  • Future first choice right-back
  • Bernardo Silva replacement

Manchester City have been linked with various players this summer, and three in particular appear almost certain to join the club.

Let’s take a look at the three stars who seem destined to be playing their football at the Etihad Stadium next summer.

Elliot Anderson

If this deal never happens, it will be a massive shock. However, it is hard to see how it will not when Anderson himself wants the move.

Man City have had two offers rejected already, but are still actively pursuing the talented midfielder.

The Red Devils have been ruled out of the ongoing race, so it is between City and Nottingham Forest to get an agreement in place.

Pierce Charles

No Man City supporter wants to see James Trafford leave, but this will be the case unless he is promised more minutes.

The England goalkeeper saw very little action outside of the domestic cup competitions in his first season back at the club.

And should this continue to be the case, he has a host of clubs lining up who would be delighted to secure his signature.

It has been reported since April that if Trafford does depart, City will sign Pierce Charles from Sheffield Wednesday, who left their own academy five years ago.

Givairo Read

Matheus Nunes had to play a lot of minutes this season, so Man City have their sights set on a new right-back.

It is likely to be a younger player who can start the occasional game, gradually growing to become more important as time passes on.

Givairo Read would be open to a City move, and he is being considered by the club. Since he matches the profile they want, signing him could well happen.

Especially since Rico Lewis is weighing up his options after a season where he rarely left the bench.
