Manchester City’s confirmed lineup to take on Nottingham Forest in huge Premier League clash – Erling Haaland is back!

Manchester City have announced their starting XI to face Nottingham Forest in what is a must-win game for both teams.

The time has almost arrived for Manchester City to get their next Premier League encounter underway and there should be plenty to look forward to.

Pep Guardiola’s side are in winning form, but the manager could really use a decisive victory to show Arsenal that he and his team mean business.

However, the visitors would not dream of going down without a fight, so this could be a very entertaining night of Premier League football.

Manchester City make two changes

Guardiola has made two switches from the team who defeated Leeds United at Elland Road last Saturday.

Erling Haaland returns to the starting lineup after missing Man City’s previous game due to a knock he picked up in training.

Phil Foden is the other player who has re-entered the first-team, with Nico O’Reilly missing out through injury and Omar Marmoush dropping to the bench.

Manchester City are in a better position than Arsenal tonight

No disrespect to Nottingham Forest, but a home fixture against Vitor Pereira’s time is more winnable on paper than a trip to Brighton & Hove Albion.

Man City should really be taking all three points tonight and it would be good to see them do so without struggling so much.

If the hosts can grab a couple of early goals and kill the game off early, those inside the Etihad Stadium will be very pleased with what they see.
