Manchester City have made a €68m (£59.9) bid to Leicester City for Riyad Mahrez, according to reports.
Twitter: Breaking | Manchester City have made a €68m offer for Leicester City’s Riyad Mahrez, according to France Football. More follows (@GFFN)
Having lost Leroy Sane for up to six weeks with an ankle ligament injury, Pep Guardiola is seemingly looking for reinforcements and as such, the bid has been made for Mahrez.
Leicester have been firm in their stance of not allowing the Algerian star leave on the cheap, so it will be interesting to see how they respond to such a large offer.

If the bid is accepted, Mahrez would become City’s most expensive ever player, taking over from Aymeric Laporte, whose £57m move from Bilbao was announced earlier today.
Mahrez was one of the stars of the Premier League when his side won the title and he could be set to collect his second winners medal if he does make the switch to the Etihad, as City look certain to win the title once again.
