Manchester City will make another attempt to sign Alexis Sanchez in January and according to a report from Jason Burt of the Telegraph, they are confident of getting a deal done.
City failed with a bid to sign the Chilean international in the summer and the player himself was reportedly upset not to get the move to Manchester.
However, with his contract set to expire in the summer, Arsenal are set to reluctantly let him leave in order to get a transfer fee, one which could be in the region of £60million.
Sanchez can start speaking to interested parties in January about the possibility of a free transfer at the end of the season but City are prepared to splash the cash in order to beat the likes of PSG to his signature.
According to Burt’s report, the current Arsenal playing staff are aware that Sanchez will be allowed to move in January and it looks like City will be his destination.
