Samir Nasri looks set to leave City, with Turkish-Football reporting that The Blues have agreed a deal with Super Lig side Besiktas to send the Frenchman on loan to Istanbul for the year. Nasri has fallen out of favour under Pep Guardiola, and should depart before the end of the window.

Rumours have persisted this summer about an exit for Nasri from the Etihad, after he missed much of last season through injury. Reports in recent weeks had suggested Pep was prepared to give the 29-year-old a chance to improve his fitness, before then indicating that the new manager had deemed him surplus to requirements.
And now he seems set for a move to Turkey, after interest from several Serie A clubs earlier in the summer. Internazionale had seemed the most likely suitor, before Roberto Mancini (the man who originally brought Nasri to Manchester) was sacked by the Milan club following a poor pre-season.

Turkish-Football say the French international will sign for Besiktas on a one-year loan deal, with they will cover 60% of his £120,000 weekly wages (leaving City paying just £48,000 a week). Several thousand people are expected to meet Nasri at the airport when he arrives in Istanbul to complete a temporary switch.
