Joe Hart won’t be moving to Everton, after Ronald Koeman ruled out there being any interest in the England goalkeeper, who seems likely to leave City this summer after Pep Guardiola had doubts about his ability to play with his feet. The new Everton manager made the statement during his pre-match press conference ahead of Stoke’s visit to Goodison Park on Saturday.

Hart had an emotional send-off on Wednesday night, starting and being made captain for the 1-0 win over Steaua Bucharest in the Champions League play-off round second leg. It was his first appearance of the season after Willy Caballero started the first leg and the two opening league games.
However, despite being told he can leave the club, a buyer is yet to come forward. Sevilla have reportedly already ruled out moving for the 29-year-old, and now Everton have done the same. The Toffees did seem the most likely suitor, but seem set to stick with Maarten Stekelenburg in goal. Speaking to press, Koeman said: “There is no interest” when asked about Hart.

Claudio Bravo is set to complete a move to City from Barcelona before the weekend, after the Catalan club confirmed the signing of Jasper Cillessen from Ajax as his replacement. 33-year-old Bravo will become the new first-choice at the Etihad, and could play in this weekend’s visit of West Ham United.
