This summer, as always, City have sent out on loan some of their best young players in order to help their development. This year has also seen the beginning of a new – and hopefully fruitful – partnership with the Eerste Division’s NAC Breda, which sees City loaning out a number of players to the Dutch club alone.
We always like out youth players to be influential for their temporary clubs, but this weekend hasn’t really lived up to that hope. A few haven’t played, some have lost, but one player in particular did do very well.
Obviously with it being so early in the season, we shouldn’t look too much into why certain people aren’t playing, and it should get better in the coming weeks.
