Manchester City are will be ready to make a decision on what to do about Ante Coric this week, according to the Daily Mail. The young Croatian has been linked with many clubs this summer, but The Blues are in the minority to have made a bid for the 19-year-old midfielder.
The playmaker has received a lot of praise for his role in the Dinamo Zagreb team, which has seen him play a regular role of the last two seasons. He is thought to have the potential to be one of the next great Croatian midfielders, and could complete a move to the Premier League for the next step in his career.

However, although City have made a bid for Coric, Dinamo are thought to be stalling on accepting anything in case another club comes in and offers more for the player. If there’s no progress in the deal in the coming days, City may start to look at other players instead, with a little over two weeks left in the transfer window.
Despite his age, Coric has already made 56 appearances in Croatia’s top tier, scoring seven times. He’s earned a good degree of success in eastern Europe, having picked up two league titles and two Croatian Cup titles with Dinamo since coming into the team in the 2014-15 season.

Coric also has European pedigree, having appeared 11 times in the Champions League for the Croatian giants. They have a place in the play-off round of this year’s competition, having beaten Estonia’s Dinamo Tblisi 3-0 in aggregate in the last round; Coric netted one of the goals in the home leg.
The 19-year-old made his debut for Croatia’s senior international side this year, coming on in wins over Moldova and San Marino. He went to this summer’s European Championships in France, but remained on the bench for the duration of the tournament.
