Manchester City are interested in signing Real Madrid duo Toni Kroos and Dani Carvajal, according to Spanish media outlet Don Balon.
According to the report, incoming manager Pep Guardiola has identified the pair as two of the players he wants to help take the club into a new era.
Apparently City are looking to pay around €57million to secure the signing of the duo, both of whom will be featuring at Euro 2016 for Germany and Spain, respectively.

Carvajal has been a regular at right-back for Madrid, beating out Danilo to earn the starting role, so they are probably hoping to keep him.
The same can be said for Kroos, who has been a regular in Real’s midfield when fit, doing the anchoring job that allows the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, Gareth Bale and co. to attack freely knowing they have cover.
It seems unlikely that Real will be looking to see either player, but if they are looking to make major additions, they might just consider it.
