Manchester City are one of three Premier League clubs to have joined Barcelona and Real Madrid in showing an interest in Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski, according to Miguel Delaney of The Independent.
The Polish international is reportedly considering his future options as he is keen on a new challenge and to test himself in another league whilst he is still in his prime.
The 27-year-old is still under contract at Bayern until 2019, so any deal would likely cost the Blues upwards of £70million, a huge fee but one that could be worth it if he can reproduce his excellent goalscoring form.

Pep Guardiola has been regularly linked with the club and it would be something very special if City could land Lewandowski as well as Guardiola – who has already confirmed he will leave Bayern at the end of the season.
Lewandowski has been prolific once again this season, scoring a mightily impressive 23 goals in 26 games in all competitions.
It is highly unlikely that the striker will leave in January so any move would need to take place in the summer, and Delaney thinks that the English sides will have an advantage in terms of signing him as the new TV deal means there’ll be plenty of money available at Premier League clubs.
