Erling Haaland has heaped praise on his Manchester City teammates as well as one man in particular who has pushed the striker to be the best version of himself.
Pep Guardiola is the fourth longest-serving Premier League manager at a single club, with almost a full decade passing since he was appointed by Manchester City.
The team had been transformed a few years before Guardiola arrived, but he has well and truly taken them to another level since his reign began.
However, there are lingering questions over how much longer the 55-year-old will choose to remain at Man City and Erling Haaland has dropped a hint on where his bosses’ future lies.

Guardiola has worked with some top class strikers over the years and Erling Haaland is one of the very best.
The Norwegian has consistently banged in the goals for his team and he will hope to continue doing so, whether Guardiola remains at the club or not.

Speaking to TNT Sports, the forward has spoken about the ‘good people’ who have helped him at Man City, giving a special mention to his manager while dropping a hint over his future.
Haaland said: “When I’m talking about good people around me, it’s not just my friends and people around me here, but it’s also people in the club. And I’m lucky to be in a club with so many good people, and with Pep [Guardiola], who pushes us every single day.
“I’ve been lucky to work with Pep for now three-and-a-half years, it’s been an amazing time as we all know, and no matter what happens in the future we still need to keep on pushing, and I still need to push myself and others around me to get better.”
Haaland appears committed to Man City
Haaland’s comments are interesting not only by what they say about Guardiola, but also about what they mean for himself.
Man City recently received interest from PSG in Haaland, but the striker appears to have suggested he intends to remain at City, regardles of whether Guardiola stays or goes.
This is brilliant for Man City, as Haaland is the club’s main goal threat and still has plenty of years to be playing at the highest level.
