Manchester City’s next three Premier League fixtures after Newcastle victory

Manchester City will be looking to build on their Saturday night victory over Newcastle United and there is every reason to be feeling optimistic.

Manchester City are looking to keep the pressure on Arsenal at the top of the Premier League table after clinching all three points against Newcastle.

Defeating the Magpies was not easy for Pep Guardiola’s men, with just one goal separating the teams when the referee blew his full-time whistle.

Nico O’Reilly is the man of the hour, as it was ultimately his two goals which allowed his side to clinch a vital three points.

Now City must look to build on this result and their next three Premier League matches will be viewed as a good opportunity to make this happen.

Man City should win all these matches

No match in the Premier League is easy, but some are more straightforward than others and this should be the case with City’s next few fixtures.

Nottingham Forest and West Ham are both fighting relegation, while Leeds are not out of the woods yet.

City have another week-long break before their next game which will be helpful, although there is a quicker turnaround after their midweek clash with Forest.

Despite this, Pep Guardiola’s team will be expected to take every point on offer, making things very interesting at the top of the table.
