Last week’s loss at home to Southampton was a major setback in Hodgson’s managerial redemption. The recent victory against Huddersfield in the Carabao Cup will boost Palace’s confidence going into this weekend’s match.
The last time these sides faced off was at the same venue and it was City who ran out 5-0 winners, as the Citizens went on a fantastic win streak to secure third place and a Champions League spot.
