Manchester City will play Aston Villa for the 9th time (excluding replays) in FA Cup history this weekend after being pitted against the Birmingham-based side in the fourth round draw.
Over the course of those previous 8 ties, City have been victorious on six occasions. Two ties have required a replay to separate the sides, with each team winning one apiece. The very first cup meeting was over a century ago, back in 1900, with the most recent clash taking place in 2011.
Over the course of the next few slides, we take a look at the three most recent meetings in the FA Cup ahead of tomorrow’s head to head at Villa Park.
