Enzo Maresca took his first press conference as City manager today, and it was Rodri who dominated. Maresca confirmed surgery will take place on Monday, with the midfielder needing rest before returning to the squad.
He also gave a non-committal answer on Jack Grealish’s future, leaving Everton’s hopes of a second loan unresolved, and declined to revisit his acrimonious Chelsea exit when asked directly.
On the transfer front, City’s interest in Chelsea’s Enzo Fernandez resurfaced this week, with his World Cup final red card adding a layer of complication to any reunion with Maresca.
