Ex-Premier League midfielder says Man City will ‘win every game’ remaining in Premier League

  • Arsenal tipped to drop points

One former Premier League star has revealed that he expects Manchester City to win the Premier League without dropping another point before the season ends.

Manchester City returned to winning ways in the Carabao Cup final and have been on an upward trajectory ever since.

The Citizens thrashed Chelsea at Stamford Bridge, saw off Arsenal last Sunday and then went on to defeat Burnley.

However, a lot has been said about Man City’s remaining fixtures, which are said to be more difficult than Arsenal’s.

Darren Ambrose backs Man City to keep on winning

According to Darren Ambrose, Man City are going to win all their remaining matches this season, which will see them lift the Premier League trophy next month.

Arsenal on the other hand are still likely to drop points in two of their fixtures, making a clear separation between the teams.

“They [Man City] can be a little bit disappointed privately in terms of not getting more goals, in terms of how many shots they had,” Ambrose told Sky Sports.

“But I’m looking at the fixtures now, I think they’ll win… Everton’s a tough one, Everton will be a tough one away.

“Bournemouth, okay. Look, Palace could have a say in this by the way, and that is where I think Arsenal will drop points, either Palace or West Ham. Those two games there are going to be really difficult.

“I think Manchester City will win every game, I think they’ll win them all. I think Arsenal will drop points to either West Ham or Palace.”

City have beaten the very best teams

Although Man City’s victory over Burnley was not all that convincing, they have still defeated some of the Premier League’s finest clubs in recent weeks.

City have recently beaten Arsenal twice, thrashed Chelsea away from home and made Liverpool look like a Football League team in the FA Cup.

Therefore, it is clear to see why Ambrose cannot see the Premier League leaders dropping any points before the end of the season.

Arsenal have no momentum

The Gunners know that winning is essential, but it is difficult to bounce back after four consecutive domestic defeats.

Especially since Arsenal are still in the Champions League, and have a tough time coming up against Atletico Madrid.

Their attention will be divided, as winning this competition is an achievement the club have never experienced.

Whereas City, despite eyeing an FA Cup win, will be fully focused on seeing their comeback through and winning the Premier League.
