The time has almost come for Manchester City to do battle with Liverpool and Pep Guardiola has named his full matchday squad.

Manchester City are back in action after an international break which saw 17 of the club’s players represent their national teams.

The Citizens are tasked with knocking Liverpool out of the FA Cup, which is something they have failed to do in each of their past four attempts.

However, there will be plenty of motivation and belief in City’s camp after an impressive Carabao Cup triumph.

With the match getting underway soon, Pep Guardiola has named the players who seek to secure a victory in this huge quarter-final tie.

Pep Guardiola makes one change to Man City’s Carabao Cup final team

Manchester City’s startling lineup this afternoon is very similar to the one which defeated Arsenal two weekends ago.

In fact, Marc Guehi replacing Nathan Ake is the only change Guardiola has made for this FA Cup quarter-final clash.

James Trafford keeps his place in the starting lineup, while Ruben Dias and John Stones are both missing the match due to their respective injuries.

The Catalan manager has gone with his standard Premier League midfield, while there are no surprises across the frontline.
