  • Eight Manchester City players were in action on Friday
  • Most of them were able to deliver good performances

Manchester City’s international stars were in action on Friday, with some impressing, while others fell short of expectations.

Here are the Fotmob ratings of every Manchester City player who took to the pitch on the second day of action during the international break.

James Trafford – 6.1

Trafford only had one save to make on Friday night, but it was a penalty kick in the closing stages of England’s match against Uruguay. Unfortunately, the goalkeeper was unable to prevent the score, which gave the visitors a draw. On the bright side, he was able to make his senior international debut.

Phil Foden – 7.2

Foden may not have set his team alight, but his passing was accurate and he won all his ground duels. The midfielder was substituted after 56 minutes, following a harsh challenge by Ronald Araujo which could have resulted in a serious injury.

Antoine Semenyo – 6.6

Unfortunately, Antoine Semenyo experienced a tough evening as Ghana were thrashed 5-1 by Austria. The attacker was unable to land a shot on target , but he did at least manage a couple of successful dribbles.

Omar Marmoush – 7.5

Zizo was Egypt’s player of the match during their 4-0 victory over Saudi Arabia, but Omar Marmoush contributed well too. The striker landed on the scoresheet in the second half, moments before he was substituted.

Rayan Ait-Nouri – N/A

Algeria claimed a 7-0 victory over Guatemala and Rayan Ait-Nouri registered an assist during the game. However, Fotmob did not provide any player ratings.

Tijjani Reijnders – 7.7

Of all Man City’s players, Reijnders had the best night. The 27-year-old scored a goal for the Netherlands against Norway which turned out to be the match winner. He also missed one big chance, so we could have even been talking about a brace.

Rodri – 7.4

With 99 successful passes and 114 touches, Rodri was very much involved as Spain inflicted a 3-0 defeat on Serbia. The captain played 77 minutes, before bowing out 13 minutes before the match ended.

Which Man City players are in action today?

Jeremy Doku is the only Man City player in action on Saturday. The winger will be waiting to hear whether he has been included in the starting lineup to face the US national team, with kick off at 7:30pm UK time.

However, Portugal will play in Mexico just a few hours later, so Bernardo Silva could also get some minutes.

Then on Monday, Abdukodir Khusanov’s Uzbekistan play against Venezuela, while Semenyo has a chance for redemption as Ghana travel to Germany.
