Manchester City may need to be on the hunt for a new manager, due to an update on Pep Guardiola’s future.

The biggest question surrounding Manchester City is whether or not they will catch up with Arsenal and win the Premier League.

However, the next most pressing matter is if Pep Guardiola will remain at the club next season, with past rumours suggesting he could leave this summer.

Nobody knows for sure what the future looks like for Man City’s manager of 10 years, but a new update has emerged which seems to suggest his mind is made up.

Pep Guardiola is likely to exit Man City this summer

talkSPORT have reported that Guardiola’s future has been decided, following Man City’s triumph in the Carabao Cup.

This has been revealed by well-placed sources in the north west, who believe Guardiola will decide to leave the Citizens at the end of the season.

Club officials have attempted to play down any rumours of his impending departure, but Man City are already believed to be listing possible replacements.

Guardiola will remain a Man City legend regardless of what happens next

It is difficult to know who to trust when Guardiola himself has refused to say when he is going to end his stay in Manchester.

Whatever the case, he has done an excellent job over the past decade and will always be considered a legendary figure around the Etihad Stadium.

Finishing with a Carbao Cup victory is not a bad way to sign off and if City are able to win the Premier League or FA Cup, that would really be the cherry on top of an extraordinary period.
