Whilst the eyes of most football fans in the country were on the Nou Camp, Manchester City supporters were watching their side toil with little reward against a resolute Stoke City side.
The game ended 0-0 and it isn’t an encounter that will be remembered fondly, in fact, it’ll probably be forgotten very quickly. There’s a good chance that plenty of non-City fans don’t even know that the game took place!
The result means City now sit in third place, ten points behind leaders Chelsea and just six points above fifth-placed Arsenal with the Gunners having a game in hand.
Whilst title dreams look to be all-but-gone, City shouldn’t be 100% confident of finishing in the Champions League places just yet, although in terms of quality, they still have more than enough to finish strongly.
