Pep Guardiola ended his six game winless run with a comfortable 4-0 win away to West Brom.
Sergio Aguero and Ilkay Gundogan grabbed braces to seal all three points and put City back to the top of the table.
Two very different approaches to the modern game went head to head when Guardiola faced off with Tony Pulis for the first time. Pulis, who has recently extended his West Brom contract after reaching over 1000 games in management, is a veteran of the Premier League and was projected originally to frustrate our beloved Catalan.

In the end though, City were allowed too much of the ball – 71% possession to be exact – and eventually they would break ‘The Baggies’ down…four times.
The goalscorers were probably the pick of the bunch, Claudio Bravo will have enjoyed keeping what has become a rare league clean-sheet and even Fernando showed good versatility at right-back.
Is the ‘crisis’ over? I think it never begun. Anyway, here’s today’s player ratings.
