The 2015/16 season is over for Manchester City and it’s fair to say it won’t go down as a particularly memorable one. But there is every chance that it all changes next season under the tutelage of Pep Guardiola, starting with pre-season.
However a host of City players won’t be allowed to rest on their laurels and reflect on last season, as City have plenty of players on international duty – with both Euro 2016 and the Copa America taking place.
And though they aren’t representing City as such, many of the contracted City players need a big summer ahead of next season. There’s no doubt that Pep Guardiola will be closely watching.
