According to reports in the Daily Mirror, Tottenham left-back Danny Rose is high on the list of priorities for Pep Guardiola this summer.

Rose, 25, is in contention to be selected for this summer’s European Championships with England after helping Tottenham to challenge for their first title in over 30 years. Despite falling short of surprise champions Leicester, the consistently impressive displays from Rose did not go unnoticed.
Spanish coach Guardiola is keen to add more homegrown players to his squad in order to meet Premier League and UEFA regulations and Rose’s performances this season have caught his attention.

Although City have yet to make a formal approach for the ex-Leeds United full-back, Guardiola will continue to monitor his performances in the summer and decided after the Euros whether to make a move or not.
Any move would, more than likely, see Aleksandar Kolarov end his six-year association with the club.

Kolarov has been at the centre of criticism for his poor performances this season, which have continually left the defence vulnerable to counter-attacks.
