Manchester City are believed to have made a speculative approach to sign a Manchester United teenager, as per the Sunday People.
Callum Gribbin is considered to be one of United’s most talented prospects and City have reportedly tried to step in and lure him to the blue side of Manchester.
City, now seemingly ahead of United in their youth facilities and production line, are said to have offered Gribbin a steep £11,000-a-week contract.
The 16-year old ironically made his debut for United Under 21’s last season against City and it is understood that the likes of Ryan Giggs have intervened to try and stop any talk of a move across the City.

Gribbin signed a four-year deal with the Red Devils in July and City’s approach is said to have angered members of United’s hierarchy. It was reported not so long ago that United were to cancel games against City after the blues were dominant at most, if not all youth levels.
