City host PSG in the Champions League tonight, with Pep Guardiola expected at the Etihad for the first time since leaving the club.
Enzo Maresca has a fully fit squad available against the back-to-back European champions, while City have also been reported to have breached a Premier League broadcasting rule following Sunday’s 3-0 win at Liverpool.
Guardiola set for Etihad return
Guardiola is expected to attend tonight’s game against PSG after ending his 10-year spell as City manager last summer. The former City boss is due to sit in the directors’ box alongside chairman Khaldoon Al Mubarak, chief executive Ferran Soriano and other senior figures.
“It has been his house for 10 years,” Maresca said. “It is still his house for what he has done here.” Guardiola won 20 major trophies during his decade in charge, including six Premier League titles and the Champions League.

Man City prepare for PSG
City opened their Champions League campaign with a 2-0 win at Porto, while PSG began with a 6-1 victory over Slovan Bratislava.
Maresca has no players listed as injured or doubtful. Phil Foden is available because his recent suspension applied only to domestic competition, while Jeremy Doku is pushing for a start after scoring at Anfield. Gianluigi Donnarumma could face his former club, with Erling Haaland expected to lead City’s attack. PSG are without Senny Mayulu but have Ousmane Dembele, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, Desire Doue and Vitinha available.
The game kicks off at 8pm and will be shown in the UK on TNT Sports 1, with streaming through HBO Max. Our Man City v PSG match guide has the full broadcast and team news details.
City have won four of their eight previous competitive meetings with PSG and are unbeaten in four home games against them. PSG won the most recent meeting 4-2 in Paris in January 2025.

City reported to have breached Premier League rule
City have also been reported to have breached Premier League Rule K.207 after Maresca was not made available for radio interviews following the victory at Liverpool.
TalkSPORT reported that City did not allow Maresca to speak to either talkSPORT or BBC Radio 5 Live and did not explain the decision. He did speak to Sky Sports and attended his post-match press conference.
Rule K.207 requires clubs to make their manager and at least one player who featured prominently available to the relevant radio rights holders. There has been no indication of what action, if any, the Premier League will take.
