City opened Maresca’s first Premier League season with victories over Bournemouth and Crystal Palace before beating Coventry City and Manchester United without conceding.

They then beat Sunderland 5-3 at the Etihad before the international break. The winning run continued at Anfield, where Liverpool were reduced to 10 men before Haaland, Doku and Cherki scored in a 3-0 victory.

Doku made the difference after coming off the bench, winning the foul which led to Ryan Gravenberch’s second yellow card before playing a part in the opening goal and scoring City’s second. Six league matches have therefore brought six victories and 18 points.

Man City in the Champions League

City began their Champions League campaign with a 2-0 victory away to Porto on 8 September. Paris Saint-Germain visit the Etihad on Wednesday before AEK Athens arrive six days later. City then travel to RB Leipzig on 4 November and host Napoli on 24 November.

December brings a trip to Barcelona, with City’s final two league-phase matches against Lens away and Sporting CP at home in January.

Man City in the Carabao Cup

Maresca made 10 changes for City’s third-round tie against Norwich City, but his side still won 5-0 at the Etihad. Brighton provide the opposition in the fourth round on Wednesday 28 October. The clubs then meet again at the Etihad in the Premier League three days later.

This page will continue to be updated throughout the 2026/27 season as matches are played and fixture dates are confirmed or changed.
