Savinho nears Man City exit
According to the Daily Mail, Savinho has wanted to join Tottenham Hotspur for a year, with the North London club previously showing interest in him last summer.
Spurs are moving closer to agreeing a deal for the Brazilian, which is expected to be in the region of £60m.
There is still work to do in regards to discussing add-ons and bonuses, while City are looking at Everton’s Iliman Ndiaye as a potential replacement.
Josko Gvardiol could sign a new deal
BBC Sport have reported that Man City are ‘feeling positive’ about Gvardiol signing a new contract this summer.
Talks over an extension are progressing well, despite the fact he has been linked with a move to Bayern Munich.
The defender’s existing deal expires in 2028, and he is currently preparing for Croatia’s opening World Cup match against England.
Man City still face competition for Elliot Anderson
According to The Guardian, Manchester United are still keen on signing Anderson from Man United, despite City’s active pursuit.
In fact, club executives are ‘optimistic’ of beating the Citizens to securing his signature, despite the fact they are yet to place an offer.
Man City’s opening £80m bid for Anderson was rejected by Nottingham Forest, and a move to either Manchester club would see his wages rise by 50 per cent.

According to Ekrem Konur, Doku will sign a new deal with Man City which will keep him at the club until 2031.
PSG and Real Madrid have both shown an interest in the winger, but he has no hesitations about renewing with his current team.
