Manchester City were one of the best-represented clubs in the EA SPORTS FC Premier League Team of the Season, with four players included in the squad.

EA Sports have revealed their Premier League team of the season for the 2025/26 campaign. Four Man City players made the selection following the club’s stand out performances through the season.

Three of the four players were from the final third reflecting the club’s attacking consistency which continues to make a difference as they are top of the table.

Despite not leading the title race this season, the Citizens saw several elite performers turn the table in recent games.

City attackers dominate EAFC PL Team of the Season selection

Erling Haaland led the way in terms of ratings for the Citizens. The striker was rated 96 with only Bruno Fernandes scoring higher (97).

Gianluigi Donnarumma was next who was rated 95 and the only other goalkeeper in the squad was rival David Raya with a grade of 93.

Just like Donnarumma, Rayan Cherki was also included in his first Premier League season. He was graded 93 by EA Sports.

City’s last player was another latest joinee with Antoine Semenyo edging Cherki in terms of rating (94). The winger has four assists and 15 goals in the league this season.

Attacking dominance reflects real life output

Having three final-third players in the squad doesn’t come in as a surprise following the club’s output this season.

With both the Gunners and City tied at 70 points and +36 GD, goals scored is what separate both the clubs.

The Sky Blues have scored the most goals in the Premier League this season (66), three more than their title rivals Arsenal.

Man City are not the best-represented team

While City weren’t the best-represented club, they did have the most players in the final third. The Gunners led the way in defensive terms with three players from the back four and a goalkeeper.

Declan Rice was their only non-defensive player on paper who was listed as a central midfielder in the game.

However, Rice plays mainly as a defensive midfielder in real life. Arsenal also had the most players on the squad with five in total, followed by Chelsea and Man City, both having four.
