Opta Supercomputer drops Premier League prediction Manchester City fans will love

The Opta Supercomputer has outlined its predictions for the weekend and Manchester City supporters will like what they see.

Manchester City are looking to get over a bruising 3-0 defeat to Real Madrid and West Ham are in the team seeking to stop them.

The Hammers will be feeling fresh, having enjoyed a week-long break after knocking Brentford out of the FA Cup.

Pep Guardiola’s team have not been so lucky and it will be difficult to boost their morale after a really rough experience in Spain.

However, Man City can only look forwards in order to ensure they get back to winning ways in order to keep Premier League leaders Arsenal on their toes.

The Opta Supercomputer expects a Man City victory

There will be a few question marks over Man City after Wednesday night’s woes, but the Opta Supercomputer has confidence in the visitors to the London Stadium.

Manchester City have been given a 55 per cent chance of defeating West Ham, which means they are more likely to win than not.

Despite this, West Ham still have a 22 per cent chance of wrapping up a win, while there is also a 22 per cent likelihood of a draw between the sides.

One point is not good enough for Man City

West Ham will take every point they can get in their bid for Premier League survival, but for Man City, a draw is not really much better than a defeat.

The Sky Blues already failed to beat Nottingham Forest and another draw might be enough to give Arsenal all the momentum, provided Mikel Arteta’s men defeat Everton.

Man City need a response after their worst performance of the season and that has to come on Saturday night. Otherwise, that will be two trophies that are likely to become unwinnable in very quick succession.
