The date and kick off time have been announced for Manchester City’s clash against Liverpool in the FA Cup next month.
Manchester City will take on Liverpool in the FA Cup and by that point the Sky Blues could have already secured silverware.
Pep Guardiola and his team will have travelled to Wembley Stadium two weeks earlier to do battle with Arsenal for the Carabao Cup.
No matter how that final goes, Man City will be desperate to secure a win over Liverpool in order to once again set up a tie at the national stadium.
And with the tie fast appraoching, the FA have released details about the date, time and how it can be watched.
Man City will play Liverpool in a Saturday lunchtime kick off
Man City have confirmed that they will lock horns with the Reds on Saturday, April 4, with the match set to kick off at 12:45pm UK time.
Those watching in the UK can tune in on TNT Sports 1 and HBO Max, but of course, the Etihad Stadium will be the ultimate place to witness the proceedings of the afternoon.
City will then have a week-long break before travelling to Stamford Bridge in the Premier League, unless they make it past Real Madrid in the Champions League.
The FA Cup could become a priority for Man City
It seems unlikely Man City will launch a comeback against Los Blancos and their Premier League situation is not looking too good either.
Therefore, City may place more of a focus on winning the FA Cup, as lifting this trophy would be far better than winning nothing at all.
Right now, the odds are not in Man City’s favour in regards to their preferred competitions, so securing either one or both of the domestic cups come become very important.
