Watch: Manchester City under-21s star scores screamer in Aston Villa thrashing

One Manchester City youngster has scored a phenomenal goal in Premier League 2 which even Erling Haaland would be pleased with.

Manchester City’s under-21s team are having a promising season in Premier League 2, with fine margins separating teams in the top half of the table.

City’s actual position is seventh, but they are just four points away from Fulham, who currently sit top of the league after 17 matches. It is also worth noting that the young Citizens have a game in hand too.

The elite development side are in superb form, having won five matches in a row while scoring a whopping 22 goals in the process.

Most recently, Man City defeated Aston Villa 4-0 away from home and one player scored what might end up being a contender for goal of the season.

Isaiah Dada-Mascoll scores screamer for Manchester City

Man City’s under-21s already had a 2-0 lead over Aston Villa after four minutes on Friday night and things got even better when Isaiah Dada-Mascoll launched a shot on goal.

The defensive midfielder struck the ball from just outside the penalty area and it curled into the top left corner, leaving goalkeeper James Wright with no chance of making a save.

City went on to miss a penalty and score a fourth goal all before half-time and with the hosts unable to respond, another decisive victory was secured.

Man City are back in action on Tuesday

City’s youngsters will play again on Tuesday with hopes of securing another big win and Norwich are the team travelling to the Etihad Campus.

The young Canaries are 21st in the Premier League 2 table, which means City will feel confident ahead of the midweek clash.

Kick off is scheduled for 7pm as the under-21s look to get the job done before the senior squad attempt the same one night later in Madrid.
