Manchester City’s transfer plans for Savinho revealed

Savinho has long been linked with a move away from Manchester City and it has been revealed whether the club will entertain bids for the winger this summer.

Manchester City signed Savinho back in 2024 with hopes of the Brazilian becoming a generational talent who could help push the club to continue winning trophies.

However, the 21 year old’s time in England could be described as a little underwhelming, due to the competition in Man City’s squad.

Savinho was not a regular starter last season and he only scored one goal in 29 Premier League appearances.

The current campaign has been no better, with Savinho making just 15 league appearances and failing to find the net, although he has scored twice in the Carabao Cup.

Manchester City are not interested in selling Savinho

Tottenham Hotspur have been linked with Savinho for some time and had a £70m bid rejected by Man City last summer when Thomas Frank had just arrived at the club.

Despite this, Caught Offside have reported that Spurs are still considering a move for the attacker, even if a fresh approach has not yet been made. There could also be some movement from Juventus and clubs in La Liga when the summer transfer window opens.

Whether this comes to anything remains to be seen, but Man City are not ready to sell Savinho, who is viewed as ‘untouchable’. The club’s sporting director Hugo Viana is said to be convinced of the youngster’s potential, while Pep Guardiola is determined to mould him into a world class winger.

Any potential exit would only be entertained at a starting price of £75 – 80 million, but even then, City have very few reasons to sell Savinho.

Savinho is not looking to leave Man City

Player satisfaction is of great importance and luckily for Man City, Savinho has no intentions of leaving the club any time soon.

The Brazilian international’s focus is on increasing his game time ahead of the World Cup this summer, not on what will come afterwards.

Of course, these circumstances could change further down the line, but right now there are no signs that Man City or Savinho are interested in a potential switch.
