Fernandinho turns back time with Manchester City themed post

Fernandinho has uploaded a social media post which displays 20 images showing moments from his time at Manchester City.

There have been a number of players who come to Manchester City and fall in love with the club so much that they stay for long periods of time.

This was certainly the case with Fernandinho, who spent nine years at the Etihad Stadium before moving back home to Athletico Paranaense.

Despite the Brazilian’s departure more than three years ago, City still hold a special place in his heart, as seen by his most recent post on social media.

Fernandinho creates Manchester City memories post

Fernandinho has recently posted 20 pictures on Instagram of his time at Man City, with the caption “Some Man City moments.”

The photos selected by the retired midfielder include both Premier League and Champions League fixtures, as well as some training shots.

Manchester City’s official Instagram account responded in the comment section saying “what a player.”

Joao Cancelo also responded, making a joke about the picture of a 5-a-side team featuring himself, Fernandinho, Ruben Dias, Gabriel Jesus and Bernardo Silva.

Fernandinho was a serial winner at Man City

When Fernandinho arrived in Manchester, he was already a proven winner, having secured six Ukranian Premier League titles with Shakhtar Donetsk.

This pattern continued, as the intelligent leader won five Premier League titles and six League cups at Man City.

Unfortunately, he left a year before their Champions League triumph, but this does not take anything away from his marvelous spell in England.
