Another Manchester City game, another competition. Initially, I thought the advantage went to Liverpool as they were eliminated in both domestic cup competitions, and that may still be the case.
However, as a fan, I absolutely love the fact that we are competing on so many fronts; it brings so much excitement to every game, and I am a firm believer that winning breeds more confidence and better results.
City travel to South Wales to face Swansea City. It will be seen as one last push for Pep Guardiola’s men because the international break follows this quarter-final.
Benjamin Mendy, Kevin de Bruyne, John Stones and Fernandinho are set to be out injured and will not return until after the international break.
There is a predicament with my prediction because part of me says Pep Guardiola will rotate as City have had a long run of games, but the break may mean some first-team players keep their place.
Here’s how I think the City team will look against Swansea.
