Manchester City lining up world-record Mbappe swoop
Manchester City are lining up a world-record bid for PSG and France star Kylian Mbappe.
According to The BBC, Manchester City are preparing a sensational swoop for the forward, who was named in the FIFA Team of the Year.
Mbappe shone at the World Cup for France in the summer, scoring four goals in six starts for his country – including one in the final as France beat Croatia to secure the trophy.
He has already notched five goals and three assists for PSG in five appearances this season, further proving his talent.
The report claims that Manchester City are willing to spend £200m on the forward, as Pep Guardiola looks to strengthen his squad to challenge for the Champions League.
The teenager scored 21 goals for PSG last season and has already hit 57 career goals before reaching 20 years of age.
