Manchester City youngster Manu Garcia is set to sign a season-long loan deal with French Ligue 1 side Toulouse, according to a report on Get French Football News.
The Spaniard spent last season on loan with NAC Breda in the Dutch top flight and played 34 times during the season, managing to get his name on the scoresheet once and providing two assists.
It was somewhat of a disappointing return of goals and assists for the highly rated playmaker but City boss Pep Guardiola is not ready to allow him to leave on a permanent basis.
The 20-year-old knows that it will be extremely difficult for him to break into the first team squad at the moment and is open to making a loan move which will see him gain plenty of game time.
Various reports claim Toulouse have completed the deal with City for the services of Garcia, but no official announcement has been made yet.
The midfielder definitely has a bright future after he made the 100 man shortlist for the Golden Boy award. The youngster was selected by Manuel Pellegrini for City’s post-season North America tour in May 2015 and subsequent 2016 pre-season tour, making his debut against Toronto FC.
