Aguero out for up to four weeks

Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero is set to miss up to four weeks through injury.

According to Times journalist Paul Hirst, Aguero will be out of action for 2-4 weeks.

This comes after Aguero broke a rib during a car crash earlier this week, with it being feared that he could have been out for an even longer period of time.

The forward is one goal short of being Manchester City’s all-time top goalscorer, but will now have to wait until he recovers from injury to break the record.

Eric Brook is currently top of the charts with 177 goals for the club in all competitions, whilst Aguero is on 176.

He missed the chance to equal the record when he missed a penalty in the Champions League during the week.

Aguero will now have to, potentially, wait until November to get back into the action.
