Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola is willing to wait until next summer to sign Alexis Sanchez.
According to a report from the Daily Mail, the Citizens remain keen to secure the services of the Chilean international before the window closes. However, with a move away from the Emirates appearing unlikely for Sanchez in the imminent future, they may be forced to wait until next summer – something that Guardiola is willing to do.

Sanchez is understood to be keen on a move away from Arsenal, but the club want to extend his deal. The former Barcelona man has just under a year remaining on his current contract and isn’t looking set to extend his stay.
With Sanchez’s contract expiring next summer, he will be allowed to move for free. Manchester City’s interest is likely to remain ahead of next year’s window, and a reunion between Guardiola and his former player Sanchez could be on the cards.
