The Gabon international has established himself as one of the world’s most potent attackers over the course of the last couple of seasons. This has prompted interest from some of the top clubs in world football.
City are already well stocked in terms of striking options, with both Gabriel Jesus and Sergio Aguero up there with the very best in the league in terms of their position.
However, it seems as though Pep Guardiola is looking to add to his firepower up top and he sees Aubameyang as the perfect man to do this.
The clinical striker is set to cost upwards of £60m this summer.
