Alves sets his sights on City move
Manchester City’s hopes of signing Dani Alves this summer may have been boosted, with the Brazilian claimed to be keen on reuniting with Pep Guardiola.
According to a report from the Daily Mail, Alves has set his sights on a move to the Etihad Stadium this summer as he seeks pastures new away from Juventus.
Alves worked with City boss Guardiola during the pair’s tenure at Barcelona and it’s looking as though the experienced right back is keen to test his ability alongside the Spaniard in the Premier League for the first time in his illustrious career so far.
Despite the excellent full-back having one more year on his current deal in Turin, it’s stated that he has not quite enjoyed his time in Italy as much as he had previously hoped for, and is keen to join City this summer.
Guardiola will be keen to land a new right-back, and there are very few better around than Alves.
