What will Man City’s XI look like next season?

There was high levels of anticipation among the Manchester City fanbase when it was announced that Pep Guardiola would be coming to the Etihad.

Having managed two of the best clubs on the planet, Barcelona and Bayern Munich, his experience and winning mentality appeared to give City what they needed to win the title again. They began the season strongly but ended up finishing in third place in the Premier League.

Automatic qualification for the Champions League is a decent achievement and alongside an FA Cup semi-final, for some clubd the campaign would be deemed as a success.

However, considering the talent of the squad and the reputation that the manager came with, the season has to be put down as a disappointment.

Already City have been dealing in the transfer market, signing Bernardo Silva from Monaco and Ederson from Benfica for hefty fees.

The transfer window is barely getting started and City have got time for plenty more signings so with, that let’s look at what their starting XI will look like next season.
