According to a report from France Football, as cited by the Express, Real Madrid are planning a major swap deal for Sergio Aguero in the summer, with the report linking Isco as the player to go the other way to the Etihad.
This comes after a reported meeting between Real Madrid president Florentino Perez and Manchester City chairman Khaldoon Al-Mubarak, where Aguero’s name was raised over dinner.
Aguero has endured a mixed season under Pep Guardiola, despite a respectable tally of 13 goals in 17 Premier League games. His overall tally for the season has been 25 goals in 34 games, which is impressive considering he was suspended for two periods of time for misconduct.
Aguero was temporarily replaced in the starting line-up by upcoming star Gabriel Jesus, but was brought back in after Jesus picked up an injury.
Isco has always been perennially linked with a move to City and although a move for Aguero to join Real is considered as unlikely at this stage, a move for the Spanish playmaker may be a possibility.
