What. A. Game!
Manchester City never do things easily and they’re often entertaining and that was definitely the case in this game.
Raheem Sterling put City ahead with a tap in after good work from Leroy Sane but Monaco were soon level when Radamel Falcao headed home Fabinho’s cross after a poor kick from Willy Caballero.
Kylian Mbappe put the visitors in front soon after with City’s defenders caught out by one long ball.
Falcao then had a penalty saved by Caballero before Sergio Aguero got City level after an error from Monaco ‘keeper Danijel Subasic.
Falcao put Monaco ahead once again when he went past Stones too easily and lobbed Caballero.
Aguero made it 3-3 with 19 minutes to go with an excellent volley from a corner and Stones soon tapped in from close range to make it 4-3.
Sane made it 5-3 to the home side with another tap in after great work from Aguero.
The tie is far from over but City have a two-goal advantage heading into the second leg, who knows what will happen in Monaco in three weeks time!?
