Manchester City could be set to battle with Liverpool and Italian giants Juventus for the signature of Mahmoud Dahoud this January, according to Calciomercato.
The Borussia Monchengladbach midfielder has been impressing many fans so far this season, featuring on no less than nine occasions for the club, including a full 90 minutes in the Champions League against Manchester City and Celtic.

The Italian side believe they are in pole position to sign the midfielder and are planning to table a bid of £13.5m for the player in January, with the midfielder being available in the summer for £8.4m due to a clause in his contract.
Dahoud made his debut for the German Under-21 side in March and has gone on to make five appearances since then with four of those being in European U21 qualification matches.
The young midfielder has gone through the youth ranks at Monchengladbach and progressed into the senior part of the club in 2013, making his debut in 2015 for a minute against Borussia Dortmund.
