Nasri joined City from Arsenal in 2011 and has made 171 appearances, helping the club to win two Premier League titles and two League Cups.
The Frenchman struggled through injuries last season, which limited him to just eight appearances.

At the beginning of Pep Guardiola’s tenure at the club, Nasri returned to training overweight and was omitted from first-team training to undergo an intense fitness program, sparking speculation about his future at the club.
The 26-year-old’s future then became unclear, after coming off of the bench against West Ham to make his first appearance of the season.

However, when interviewed after the match, Nasri was cagey about his immediate future and refused to confirm or deny that he would stay at the club.
Nasri joins Sevilla as a direct replacement for Yehven Konoplyanka, who joined Schalke on Tuesday.
