Arsenal have rebuffed interest in taking Jack Wilshere on loan from a team who they consider to be a top four rival, according to the Daily Telegraph.
Wilshere has been allowed to leave the Gunners on loan this season after falling out of favour at the Emirates. A string of long-term injuries has hampered his progression in recent years after bursting onto the scene with an impressive loan spell at Bolton.

The 24-year-old has made just 26 club appearances in the last two campaigns, including a mere three last season.
City have been closely linked with a move for Wilshere during that time, and new manager Pep Guardiola is a well-known admirer of the Englishman. While Guardiola announced that there would be no more signings in this transfer window, there were no reports that Wilshere was available when he made that statement.
Could the Blues have launched a late move to sign him, or was it one of their other top four rivals?
