His current club, Barcelona, revealed on Saturday night that there was an agreement in place for his transfer.

The 33-year-old is expected to join City in a deal worth in the region of £17m and could replace Joe Hart, who has been heavily linked with a move away from the club after a reported bust-up with new manager Pep Guardiola.

If Bravo completes his switch before midday on Saturday, like he is expected to, he will be eligible to make his debut against West Ham on Sunday afternoon.
However, the deadline has already passed for him to be able to play against Steaua Bucharest on Wednesday night, so it will be either Willy Caballero or Joe Hart between the posts for the Blues.
