Manchester City are said to be keen on securing the services of Arsenal full-back Hector Bellerin, report Mundo Deportivo.
The Spaniard is said to be open to the prospect of working with new City boss, and compatriot, Pep Guardiola – having graduated from Barcelona’s reputable La Masia academy, he would be no stranger to the Catalans style of play.
The 21-year-old has also seen interest from the likes of Bayern Munich, Atletico Madrid, PSG, local rivals Manchester United, as well as his hometown club Barcelona.
The rumoured price tag for the rapid right-back is alleged to be in region of £43 million (€51.6 million), a rather large fee for such an inexperienced player. Though, today’s market could arguably justify such a fee for someone who has adjusted so quickly to life in the often ruthless Premier League.

Bellerin’s agent, Albert Botines, who also represents City youngsters Paolo Fernandes and Erik Sarmiento, touched down in England a few hours ago to weigh up his clients options for the current summer transfer window and it is the Blues, headed by Guardiola, who are said to be in the driving seat for his signature.
With Pablo Zabaleta’s age and consequential ability coming into question, and Bacary Sagna, who too is coming to the end of his career, the need for a new right back at City is paramount and this would be just the tonic for a team that has been crying out for some young blood, having been one of the oldest teams in the league for quite some time now.
City kick off their pre-season tour this Wednesday with a trip to Guardiola’s old employee’s Bayern Munich, the game will be shown on BT Sport 1.
